Dark, sexy and mysterious. Need I say more? I am talking about my latest favorite spot for drinks in the East Village – The Bourgeois Pig. It is exactly what you are looking for post-date, dinner and everything else. Stop by for some cocktails and fondue. Perfection!

The Pig’s cocktail menu offers an array of fanciful drinks.

Try the Violetta, made with violet, honey, lemon and Pol Roger Champagne or the Shandygaff with ginger beer, lime, La Chouffe Golden Ale.

Don’t forget to try the specialty of the house, fondue. Choose from a mouth-watering array of savory or sweet fondues.

Feeling Savory, go for the Mushroom Royale Fondue: gruyere and emmenthaler, roasted wild mushrooms, thyme, and pineau des chantres served with herbed potatoes, braised artichokes, toast points and bacon.

For those with a sweet tooth, The 50 / 50 will not disappoint: your choice of two, divided by cake dark, white, milk, butter scotch, dulce de leche, peanut butter. (Yes, it’s really a cake dam).
