It’s a Saturday morning tradition for us. We wake up, grab coffee at Think Coffee and then swing by Russ & Daughters for some of the best bagels and smoked fish in the city. This tiny L.E.S. shop has been a New York landmark since 1914 and foodies flock from all around the world for a chance to see their mouth-watering and bountiful selection of Eastern European Jewish cuisine. Displays full of dried fruit, handmade chocolates fill the shelves, not to mention lox, caviar, salmon, dozens of tasty spreads and so much more. There is usually a line full of an eclectic mix of hungry hipsters, colorful locals and die-hards who have been frequenting the shop for years. Come see what everyone is talking about.
