Rosemary Trees

Post image for Rosemary Trees

This year, I couldn’t resist the intoxicating scent and festive style of this adorable Rosemary Tree. With its fragrant, evergreen, needle-like leaves, it resembles a mini-Christmas tree (how cute!), but is actually a real rosemary plant that can be used in your kitchen to add fresh herbs to your favorite winter dishes. This little tree is the perfect hostess gift during the holiday season for someone who loves to cook. The trees are relatively easy to care for and can be kept indoors – just remember to place it near a window where it can get at least 6 hours of sunlight and water it sparingly since rosemary prefers to stay somewhat on the dry side. I love to throw generous amounts of rosemary sprigs into oven-roasted potatoes and many chicken and turkey dishes. This Mediterranean favorite is also great in soups. I found my plant at Whole Foods, but they are also available at many home improvement stores and specialty gourmet markets. Enjoy!
